Elizabeth Gillies and Elle Fanning

Elizabeth Gillies (born Elizabeth Gillis) is an American actress, singer and songwriter. She is best known for her character Lucy on the Broadway musical 13 as well as Jade West in the Nickelodeon sictom Victorious. She started her career doing commercials. The Black Donnellys (2007) was her first appearance on TV. From 2010-13 she played Jade West in the Nickelodeon TV series Victorious. She was a lead character on FX's Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll series (2015-16). Elizabeth Egan Gillies' family lives in Haworth, New Jersey where Gillies was raised. She is a sister to a 1996-born brother. She has Italian heritage. Elizabeth Gillies was educated at Haworth Public School near her home. As the younger version Dakota Fanning, she debuted in I Am Sam (2002). The actress appeared in a range of films as a young actor, including Babel (2006) the The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008) and Phoebe in Wonderland (2008). In 2010 she was nominated in the Critics Choice Movie Awards for the best young actress for her performance in Sofia Coppola's Somewhere. The lead role in Super 8 earned her recognition at the Hollywood Terrorist Film Festival in 2011. In 2011, she was her role as the protagonist in comedy films We Bought a Zoo (2012) as well as Ginger & Rosa (2013). And in 2014 and in 2019, she played the Princess Aurora part in Maleficent.
