Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor from the United States. In 2000, he started his acting career by playing in TV series such as Opposite sex. Evans gained fame as The Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the 2005 movie Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans made further appearances in film adaptations of comic books and graphic novels such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). His portrayal of Captain America/Steve Rogers in Captain America: The Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 (2015), 2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) as well as Endgame in 2019 earned him even more acceptance. His role in the Marvel series made him one of the world's highest-paid actors.
