Rosalia

Rosalia Vila is an Spanish flamenco singer and pop artist. Since she was a teen she sang in both the traditional and popular music. But, her musical interests have expanded to encompass soul and hip-hop. Her voice is said by no less a talent than flamenco musician Pepe Habichuela as sharp and sweet however with a bit of bite similar to the old ones. El Mal Querer is her second album that was released in 2018, which was commercially and critically acclaimed. Following Los Angeles, her debut album released in 2017, she got a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and also a Latin Grammy nod. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd is due out in 2021. Motomami will be her third album. She collaborated with many producers and artists, such as Cory Henry. The set was released in the month of March 2022, following performances of the song Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish singer to sing on her own in the show. Motomami was her album which won the three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female artist to receive the Latin Album of the Year be awarded twice.
