MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music is one of the biggest in his part of the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu (his 2016 hit) was awarded the Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017 Favorite Song. His debut album ADN was made available in 2017 by La Industria Inc., an Medellin-based Sony distribution company. In the Top Latin Albums chart ranked ADN at the 8th spot. The following year he was a part of Ozuna on their Top Five smash Vaina Loca. Mala Influencia was his collaborative effort with Noriel in 2020. Following that year, Dopamina came out as his sophomore album. He also appeared in a duo with TINI for her viral streaming track Maldita Foto. 2000 which included the smash hit La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo is a musician who was born in a musical home. His parents and brothers were both musicians. In interviews, he described music participation as mandatory. When he was a kid, he began learning how to play the saxophone, the ukulele, and piano. He initially wanted to be an vet but when his brother Julian convinced to him take lessons in singing with an Cuban musician, he rearranged his career plans.
